1. What forms of payment do you take for retail purchases or self-pay rentals?

We currently accept Cash, Personal Check, CareCredit, and all Major Credit Cards for payment.

2. Do you buy gently used durable medical equipment?

We do not purchase any used durable medical equipment from customers for resell.

3. Do you sell gently used durable medical equipment?

We have a limited quantity of used durable medical equipment for sale, so please call to ask about specific products to see if we have that available.

4. Does insurance pay for rollators and/or walkers?

Every insurance plan is different in terms of coverage for durable medical equipment. We recommend calling your plan directly to determine what their policy is and what is required if products are covered under the plan. We do not file insurance for rollators or walkers. We have a variety of styles available for purchase in our retail showroom.

5. Does Medicare or other insurances pay for a lift chair?

Medicare only covers the seat lift mechanism of the lift chair, not the chair itself. Most other insurances also have the same reimbursement guidelines. Medicare considers the lift mechanism medically necessary, not the chair itself.

We do not file insurance for the seat lift mechanism. Our lift chairs in our showroom are retail purchases only.

If you want to try to file through insurance, we would recommend you call your insurance and speak to a customer service representative to get clarification on their coverage guidelines and ask them to provide you a provider that bills for the lift mechanism.

You can also reference our blog that discusses this in further detail.
